World Environment Day at Sedona Hotels International

Sedona Suites Hanoi plants a tree and pens a green message for guests to raise the issue of climate change and global warming on World Environment Day. During this week, staff at all Sedona's properties are treated to screenings of Al Gore's An Inconvenient Truth to advocate the role everyone plays in environment conservation.
Sedona Hotels International works closely with its communities to promote sustainable development and has initiated the following campaigns:
Clean Up Campaign
Sedona Hotel Mandalay launched a weekly clean up of the moat surrounding Myanmar's Royal Palace. Our hotel staff has enthusiastically volunteered their efforts to keep the palace's surrounding clean for tourists and the local community.
Reef Ball Project
Recognizing that healthy reef systems protect coastal communities from storms and tsunamis as well as supporting livelihoods, income and food security, Hotel Sedona Manado is fervent in marine conservation. Reef balls were placed in the hotel's lagoon and the project is set for expansion to the open waters.
Operations
All Sedona's properties practice waste reduction and recycling for better environmental preservations. Measures include greater energy efficiency in buildings, regular equipment maintenance and closed-loop processes such as directing steam water from laundry to be used for boiler and . Environment friendly cleaning products are used and suppliers are instructed to supply food and drinks items in recyclable packaging.
